Razer officially unveiled its new Blade 18 laptop recently. Essentially a refresh of the original Blade 18, the refresh model differs from its predecessor by being the first 18-inch laptop to feature the Dual Mode display.
Originally introduced with the 2023 edition of the Blade 16, the Dual Mode display on the refreshed Blade 18 offers two resolutions: UHD+ (3840 x 2400) at 240Hz and FHD+ (1920 x 1200) at an odd 440Hz. Regardless of resolution, the panel itself has a 3ms GTG response time and is DCI-P3 100% colour accurate and Calman Verified.

Beneath the hood, the refreshed Blade 18 plays house to the new Intel Core Ultra 275HX, the powerhouse CPU with 24-cores and 24-threads, and the ability to boost up to speeds of 5.4GHz. Further, the laptop can be equipped with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 mobile GPU with a TGP of 175W.
Speaking of power, the new Blade 18’s thermal management makes use of a three-fan cooling solution that can draw up to 280W of Total Package Power (TPP). Moving on, the laptop also sports a redesigned keyboard that Razer says offers 35% more travel distance than the keyboard on the last generation Blade 18 and 63g actuation force. That, and it also features a full-sized keyboard, complete with the numeric keypad and dual-LED per-key backlighting.
Ports-wise, the Blade 18 comes features two Thunderbolt ports – one Thunderbolt 5 and one Thunderbolt 4 – Wi-Fi 7, HDMI 2.1, Bluetooth 5.4, and a Gigabit LAN port. Pricing for the laptop starts at US$3,199.99 (~RM14,187), with local availability and pricing still unknown.
Additionally, The new Razer Blade 16 that we saw at CES 2025 is also available for preorder and starts at US$2,799.99 (~RM12,413) but again, there is still no local availability or pricing.
