Garmin’s latest golf-based smartwatch, the Approach S50, has arrived in Malaysia. Among its highlights are the latest fitness monitoring functions, built-in GPS, and smart connectivity with other smart golf accessories from the brand.
The Garmin Approach S50 offers a lightweight and slim design, featuring a 1.2-inch colour AMOLED display and 5ATM waterproof rating. It also comes preloaded with maps of over 43,000 golf courses, providing key functionalities such as hazard view and distance readings to the front, middle and back of the green.
In addition to core golf features, the smartwatch includes PlaysLike distance, a heart rate sensor, and a suite of health, wellness, and fitness functions. It also supports various preloaded activity profiles such as strength training, yoga, and cardio to enhance overall fitness and improve performance on the course.
Garmin says the Approach S50 can last up to 10 days in smartwatch mode and 15 hours when GPS mode is used regularly. Other notable features include smart notifications, women’s health tools such as menstrual cycle and pregnancy tracking, Garmin Pay, and music streaming via Spotify, Amazon Music or Deezer.
The Garmin Approach S50 is available in black and neutral colour options at a suggested retail price of RM1,999. It can be purchased through the Garmin e-store, Shopee, Lazada, AECO e-store, Garmin Brand Stores, MST Golf stores, and authorised retailers.
