Capcom is set to hold a pop-up store at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre in Kuala Lumpur from 17 to 20 April. The event was officially announced on Instagram via Taiwanese game publisher Justdan, which is responsible for bringing this experience to Malaysians.
Visitors will be able to visit the pop-up store on the Ground Floor at the Main Atrium of the mall between 10AM and 10PM throughout the date mentioned. The LaLaport website describes it as an experience to celebrate the legacy of Capcom’s popular gaming franchises.
The mall’s website adds that the installation will feature exclusive merchandise that won’t be available anywhere else in the country, including limited-edition apparel, collectibles and other unique memorabilia from Capcom’s popular titles. Additionally, it is said that there will be interactive displays and installations, promising immersive experiences catered to fans of both new and classic fans alike.
As of right now, there aren’t many details on what exactly one can expect from this event. However, Justdan’s Instagram announcement for the event specifically mentions Street Fighter, Resident Evil and Monster Hunter, so those will probably be among the franchises featured. More information will likely come up as the date draws closer.
