Samsung started its One UI 7 update rollout today, available in South Korea on the Galaxy S24 series (excluding the S24 FE), the Z Fold6, and the Z Flip6. It was also made available on the Galaxy Z Fold SE as well. While the release schedule for specific devices in the global market has yet to be unveiled, the update will start its rollout in Malaysia on 14 April.
As per GSMArena, the One UI 7 rollout schedule for the gadgets in the South Korean market was released in the Samsung Members community forum, with a total of 46 devices receiving the update. This includes ones that might be limited to South Korea. The rollout is scheduled to last until June, and will follow a batch release. For now though, it’s unclear if the local rollout will be following this schedule.

In April, devices ranging from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, Tab S10 Plus, and S24 FE will be receiving the update. It will be rolled out to more devices in May, including the S22 series, the Tab S8 series, and the A34 and A35 phones. Finally in June, more phones from the Galaxy A series will receive the update, as well as the Tab S9 FE and FE Plus, among others.
The One UI 7 update is expected to bring a series of improvements and additions to the device’s features, including boosting Galaxy AI’s contextual awareness and language understanding. According to the company, the AI feature will be able to search for certain images in your gallery based on your text or voice descriptions. When released to the local market, the update can be downloaded through the ‘Software update’ option in your phone’s settings.
