Mini Malaysia today introduced two new John Cooper Works (JCW) models to the Malaysian market — the first-ever fully electric Mini JCW and the Mini JCW Aceman. The Mini JCW starts at RM218,888, while the Aceman is priced at RM233,888.
According to the Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, Benjamin Nagel, these two models cater to a broader audience. “These electrified models carry the legacy of Mini’s racing heritage into the future, offering exhilarating performance with an electric pulse,” he added.

In terms of design, both models feature signature John Cooper Works elements, from the front grille in high-gloss black to the Chili Red accents on the roof, mirror caps, bonnet stripes, and brake callipers. Both Minis also feature a specially developed front lip and an integrated JCW logo.
The Mini JCW comes with 18-inch JCW Lap Spoke wheels fitted with sport tyres, while the Aceman is equipped with 19-inch JCW Lap Spoke 2-tone wheels with sport tyres. Another distinguishing feature is the inclusion of roof rails on the Aceman.

Inside, the dashboard is adorned with a black and red pattern, and the sports seats are upholstered in black synthetic leather combined with multicoloured knitted fabric. Both models come with Active Seats featuring electric seat adjustment and a memory function.
The JCW sports steering wheel, with red stitching and thumb rests for optimal grip, emphasises the driver-focused interior. A high-resolution MINI Interaction Unit displays performance data in a dedicated JCW mode.

The JCW-specific centre console blends black textile surfaces, red straps, and vibrant silver accents. Standard interior features include MINI Navigation AR, anthracite headlining, a wireless charging tray, comfort access system, and the Comfort Package Plus. For audio enthusiasts, there is also the Harman Kardon surround sound system.
Now, onto the most important aspect — performance. Under the floor of the first-ever electric Mini JCW and MINI JCW Aceman lies a powertrain that delivers 258 hp and 350 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels.

The Mini JCW accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, while the Aceman takes 6.4 seconds. Although the acceleration times differ, both models have a top speed of 200 km/h.
In terms of range, the Mini JCW can travel up to 371 km on a full charge, with energy consumption rated between 15.6 and 15.3 kWh/100 km. The Aceman offers a range of 355 km with energy consumption between 16.4 and 16.0 kWh/100 km.
Both models come with a 54.2 kWh gross battery capacity and support DC fast charging up to 95 kW, allowing them to charge from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes. For daily use, AC charging at up to 11 kW enables a full charge from 0% to 100% in approximately 5 hours and 15 minutes.
Both vehicles come with a standard two-year warranty, with optional warranty and service extensions available. Additionally, as fully electric vehicles, they are covered by an 8-year / 160,000 km battery warranty (whichever comes first).
