HONOR has officially released its GT Pro smartphone in China. Prior to its launch, the brand revealed a few of the phone’s features through several posts on Weibo. Now that the device has finally been unveiled, we have its full list of specs.
Starting off with its chipset, the HONOR GT Pro is equipped with both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, and the C1 Plus RF enhancement chips. It also has a 7,200mAh battery. While the brand claims via Weibo that this “sets a new record for battery life” (as per machine translations of its post), it should be noted that the previously released Power phone has a larger 8,000mAh battery.

The HONOR GT Pro has a 6.78-inch OLED Full HD+ screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 3D fingerprint sensor, and comes with an IP68 and IP69 rating. As for its cameras, it houses a triple 50MP camera setup at the back. This consists of a wide-angle with support for OIS, an ultra-wide-angle with autofocus, and a telephoto camera with up to 3x optical zoom. Its front features a 50MP selfie-camera.
Looking at the phone’s official page, configurations for the HONOR GT Pro includes 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The GT Pro is currently being sold in China starting at RMB3,699 (~RM2,225) with three colour variations: black, white, and gold. It remains unclear if HONOR plans to release the phone to global markets.
