Acer Malaysia today officially launched a large lineup of products. That list includes two gaming laptops, a new OLED monitor, a graphics card, a desktop rig, and a foldable controller for mobile devices.
We’ll start with the Orion 7000 desktop PC. Now available via Acer eStore and the brand’s Shopee and Lazada digital store for RM15,999, the desktop is packed with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 64GB DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. There’s also a hot-swappable SSD provided with the system that uses Thunderbolt 4 for connectivity.
Moving on, there’s the Acer Predator X32 X3 OLED Gaming monitor. The display measures at 31.5-inch OLED panel that supports dual resolution: 4K at 240Hz and FHD at 480Hz. The monitor is also AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, and boasts a 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a Vesa DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. Ports-wise, it has two HDMI 2.1 port, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a USB-C port with 90W PD.
The Acer Predator X32 X3 OLED gaming monitor retails for RM4,999 and is already available. Additionally, from today until 15 May, consumers who purchase the Orion 7000 will receive a Predator gaming chair worth RM1,299 and an RM150 Touch ‘N Go Wallet credit, while those who purchase the monitor will get an RM500 discount for the period of the promotion period, plus a Galea 315 headset worth RM199.
There’s the Acer Predator Helios 18 AI and Helios Neo 16S AI. Starting with the 18 AI, the laptop houses an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, up to an RTX 5080 laptop GPU, up to 192GB DDR5 RAM and 6TB PCIe 5.0 storage, and a 99Whr battery. The display measures in at 18-inch Mini LED panel that supports dual resolutions also. Basically, you can choose between 4K120Hz and FHD240Hz. Other features include support for Wi-Fi 7, Killer DoubleShotPro LAN, and interchangeable MagKey 4.0 mechanical switches.
Moving on to the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, the laptop boasts a smaller and thinner chassis, but almost just as much power as the 18-incher. Internally, it’s rocking an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, up to an RTX 5070 TI laptop GPU, 32GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 storage. The display is a 16-inch WQXGA OLED IPS display with a peak refresh rate of 240Hz.
The Acer Predator Helio Neo 18 AI currently available for preorder from today until 15 May and retails for RM19,999, while the Neo 16S AI will only be available for preorder starting 15 May until 31 May 2025. The laptop will retails for RM11,999.
On a side note, Acer also announced an Aspire 7 model with an Intel Core i5-12450H and an RTX 3050 6GB laptop GPU, as well as 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 storage. The display is a 15.6-inch IPS Panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The laptop goes on sale starting 9 May and retails for RM3,299.
Next on the list is the Acer Nitro Intel Arc B850 OC desktop graphics card. Specs-wise, the card uses Intel’s Arc Battlemage Xe2 GPU and has a GPU clock of up to 2,740MHz, and supports comfortable gaming at resolutions of 1440p. The card is already available for purchase at Acer’s eStore and online stores at an SRP of RM1,599.
Last but not least is the Acer Nitro Mobile gaming controller. Designed to support devices up to 8.3-inches in size, this mobile controller supports both wireless and wired charging options, the latter supporting charging speeds of up to 18W. In total, it features 15 responsive buttons although if we’re honest, we can’t help but feel that Acer just ripped off the design from the Razer Kishi V2.
Pricing for the controller is set at RM439 and is already available. To sweeten the deal, customers who purchase the Nitro mobile gaming controller before 15 May can get it for RM349.
