Casio has confirmed that its limited-edition Back to the Future calculator watch will officially launch in Malaysia on 6 November 2025. The timepiece, officially known as the CA-500WEBF-1A, is introduced in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the classic 1985 film.
To recap our initial report, the watch is based on the vintage CA-500 calculator model and features a design inspired by the Back to the Future franchise. The colour scheme mirrors the DeLorean’s time circuits, with orange, red, and yellow accents on the keypad.
Around the back, the case is engraved with the flux capacitor motif, and the buckle bears the Back to the Future logo. Even the packaging stays true to the theme, arriving in a box styled after a VHS tape.
The watch itself retains all the functions of Casio’s classic calculator series. These include an eight-digit calculator, stopwatch, alarm, calendar, and water resistance. It also comes with a long-lasting battery, which can last up to approximately five years.
The CA-500WBF-1A Back to the Future limited edition calculator watch is priced at RM609 in Malaysia. It will be available via Casio Malaysia’s online store first upon its local arrival.
