AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D are set to make their debut on 12 March. At least, that’s what the brand’s official China store seems to confirm.
Thanks to the X user Harukaze, they managed to snag what looks to be the official poster for the Ryzen 9950X3D. If you can read Chinese (this writer can’t), the poster is just a rundown of the CPU’s specifications with its massive 144MB 3D V-Cache highlighted in the bottom left of it, but it’s Harukaze that seems confident about the CPU’s 12 March launch.

Another X user, HXL, also managed to find the expected SRP for the 9950X3D via a JD Price plugin. The processor is expected to sell at RMB5,599 (~RM3,417) but to be clear, this is far from its official price, as AMD has yet to official announce it. On a related note, the pricing of the 9900X3D.
The 9950X3D was announced during CES 2025. To quickly recap, it houses 16 Zen5 cores, has a base and boost clock of 4.3GHz and 5.7GHz, respectively, and as mentioned, it comes with a massive 144MB L3 Cache and 170W TDP.

Like the the 9800X3D, AMD fitted the 9950X3D with its second generation 3D V-Cache technology, meaning that you can make it run faster than its advertised 5.7GHz boost clock. In terms of gaming performance, the red chipmaker boasts an 8% average increase over the previous generation 7950X3D and 20% average increase in frames when compared to the Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K.
