Telekom Malaysia (TM) has announced the rebranding of its Unifi Mobile app to “Unifi Universe”. This change also introduces new functionalities to the app, providing users with the ability to manage both the telco’s mobile and broadband plans on a single platform.
However, do note that account management for broadband on Unifi Universe only applies to new customers who have registered for Unifi Home and Air on or after 17 March 2025. For existing users, account management will still be done through the MyUnifi app until further notice.
As to what’s new, the updated app now allows access to Unifi’s All-in-One package, which encompasses Home, Mobile, TV and Lifestyle services. It also introduces a new shopping section for purchases, the ability to pay bills for others, and instant support through the “Support” button.
With Unifi UniVerse looking to, well, unify user account management for both of the telco’s, it is expected that TM will eventually phase out its existing MyUnifi app for broadband customers. However, there’s no word on when this will come to be.
