HONOR has introduced the HONOR Pad X9a, the first device from the teaser it shared earlier this week. It is an upgraded version of last year’s HONOR Pad X9, featuring a higher-resolution display, a larger battery, and includes bundled accessories.
The upcoming tablet is equipped with an 11.5-inch display with 2.5K resolution, making it the first tablet in its category to offer this resolution. Additionally, the screen comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as HONOR Eye Comfort technology which helps reduce eye strain during prolonged usage.
Powering the tablet is an 8,300mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. According to HONOR, the Pad X9a is capable of providing up to 11.5 hours of continuous streaming on iQIYI. Connectivity-wise, it is revealed that only the WiFi version of the Pad X9a will be released in the local market.

Besides that, the company adds the tablet comes bundled with a free keyboard and stylus. Its other key specifications, such as the onboard chipset and memory configurations, have yet to be revealed.
The HONOR Pad X9a will officially launch in Malaysia on 26 March 2025, with pricing details to be announced on that date.
