Rumours of a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE have been floating around for quite a bit of time, though no claims of a release date or even window has been made. Until recently, that is, as a new report claims that it will be coming a few months after the Flip7, which is usually announced around July as part of the brand’s Unpacked event.
Said report comes courtesy of Korean news outlet The Bell, though the report is primarily focused on the Exynos 2500 and 2600 chipsets. Actually, a lot more on the former, as the report details the way production went smooth enough for Samsung to consider putting it into the Galaxy S25 series, which evidently didn’t happen.

It was not the only snag the Exynos 2500 hit either, as the report also mentions Samsung considering using it for the Galaxy Z Flip7. Instead, the chip is now relegated to the Flip FE which, as mentioned, will arrive a few months after the Flip7. This suggests that we’ll be seeing this year’s foldables packing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite once again. Despite this, the report claims that mass production of the the Exynos 2500 chip has already started.
As for the Exynos 2600, Samsung now working to equip the Galaxy S26 series of next year with it, so it sounds like a similar story to the 2500. There is also mention of an Exynos V920, an infotainment processor that will be supplied to Hyundai.
