Ninja Van has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with digital healthcare platform Esyms to expand Allmeds, Malaysia’s first cold chain medicine delivery service. This partnership integrates the courier company‘s cold chain logistics service, Ninja Cold, to ensure faster and more reliable delivery of temperature-sensitive medicines, especially in areas beyond the Klang Valley.
Ninja Cold provides Esyms with an end-to-end cold chain solution that prioritises temperature control, operational efficiency, and sustainability. By enhancing the accessibility of essential medicines, the service allows patients to receive treatments such as insulin, eye drops, and specialised injections at home without visiting hospitals or pharmacies.

These medicines require storage between 2°C and 8°C to retain their effectiveness, and Ninja Cold ensures strict compliance with these conditions. Additionally, Ninja Van Malaysia holds a Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD) certification, meeting industry standards for the safe handling, storage and transportation of medical products. Patients and healthcare providers also benefit from real-time tracking, offering full visibility on deliveries and ensuring greater transparency.
Ninja Van Malaysia CEO Lin Zheng highlighted that the demand for cold chain logistics in Malaysia is growing, with the market estimated to be worth RM2.5 billion by 2023 and expected to reach RM68.54 billion in ASEAN by 2030. However, the main challenges still lie in the delivery infrastructure and real-time monitoring. Meanwhile, Esyms Group CEO Lam Wee Yong stressed that this collaboration strengthens the supply chain and helps bring pharmacy services directly to patients’ doorsteps.
