It was revealed last week that the POCO F7 series will be launched today, with the series only having Pro and Ultra models, eschewing a base version. The global launch today reiterates that the lineup only consists of two models with suffixes, as well as their associated spec sheets.
While the two models of POCO F7 have quite a bit differentiating them, they do have a couple of things in common. To start, the two share a 6.67-inch 120Hz 3,200 x 1,440 display, and they also share an IP68 rating. Then on the software side of things, they both run Android 15 with the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 overlay.
Beyond those though, the POCO F7 Ultra is armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, where the Pro model has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead. Similarly, the former has a 5,300 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support, while the former has instead a 6,000 mAh battery and 90W wired charging.
Then for their cameras, the POCO F7 Ultra has a 50MP main + 50MP 2.5x telephoto + 32MP wide-angle combo at the back, plus a 32MP secondary shooter in front. As for the Pro model, it instead comes with a 50MP main + 8MP wide angle combo at the back, plus a 20MP front-facing unit. As announced during the launch, the brand also promised four generations of Android version upgrades and six years of security updates.
For their prices, we’ll start with the POCO F7 Pro. You’ll get 12GB of RAM either way, but opting for 256GB of storage will lead to a unit costing RM2,299. The 512GB option costs RM2,499 instead. These will be available via the official Mi online store, as well as the brand’s official store on Shopee. Get it by 9 April, and you’ll be entitled to get them at RM2,039 and RM2,139 respectively instead.
As for the Ultra model, you get a choice of a 12GB + 256GB or a 16GB + 512GB combo. They are priced at RM2,999 and RM3,299 respectively. While this is also available on the Mi online store, the e-commerce option here is Lazada instead. Here, the launch promo prices are RM2,699 and RM2,899 respectively, but both will net you an additional Xiaomi 50W wireless charging stand worth RM229 thrown in for free.
