The beginning of April has been tragic for the victims of the recent gas pipeline explosion in Putra Heights. In response to the disaster, various government and private agencies have stepped forward to provide assistance. Among them, Chery Malaysia has joined the relief efforts by lending 50 cars to those affected by the explosion.

According to reports, a total of 275 vehicles were damaged in the incident, leaving many residents without personal transportation. In response, Chery Malaysia, in collaboration with the Selangor state government, has launched this initiative to ease the burden on affected families. This effort is being coordinated with the offices of Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari; Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade, and Mobility, YB Ng Sze Han; as well as local authorities overseeing the relief efforts.
