Pricing for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge has reportedly surfaced online, with European retailers revealing figures ahead of the phone’s official launch, according to GSMArena. If accurate, the phone will become the second most expensive device in the Galaxy S25 series, positioned between the Plus and the Ultra models. This arrangement mirrors earlier pricing reports from South Korea.
Italian online retailer Zanetti listed multiple versions of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, showing the 256GB model priced at EUR1,362 (~RM6,704) and the 512GB variant at EUR1,488 (~RM7,319). These figures are higher than initial expectations for the European market. Relative to the Galaxy S25+, the S25 Edge carries a price premium of around EUR100 (~RM491), while the Galaxy S25 Ultra continues to hold the top spot as the series’ most expensive model.
GSMArena adds that another Italian retailer, Epto, also listed the Galaxy S25 Edge at identical price points before the pages were removed. According to the listings, the S25 Edge will be available in three colour options: Silver, Jetblack, and Icyblue.
Time will tell whether the leaked pricing is actually accurate or not. For that, we have to wait until the Galaxy S25 Edge’s rumoured launch date of mid-May 2025 to find out. It is also worth noting that prices in Europe tend to be higher, meaning the phone could debut at a lower price point in Malaysia – or Asia in general.
Recapping past reports, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature a 6.6-inch display, a 3,900mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. On the back, it reportedly houses just two cameras: a 200MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. Its standout feature is its slim design, measuring only 5.84mm in thickness and weighing 162g, making it the thinnest and lightest Galaxy smartphone released in recent years.
