The CMF Phone 2 Pro is slated to launch on 28 April, at it has already appeared on the local SIRIM database. Nothing much was previously known about the phone, though that has changed recently as the Nothing subsidiary has shared on social media a few key items from the spec sheet.
In chronological order, the first item of the CMF Phone 2 Pro that was revealed was that it would be packing a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, rather than the previously rumoured 7400. It’s a pretty minor upgrade over the Phone 1, which had the base Dimensity 7300, with the Pro chipset being about 10% faster.

More recently, the company also teased the way the cameras on the CMF Phone 2 Pro would look, which is definitely a better look over the previous camera teaser. Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis then follows up with the specs of the cameras themselves, which consists of a 50MP main + 50MP 2x telephoto + 8MP wide-angle combo. If this looks familiar, this is because it’s a similar setup to the Nothing Phone (3a).
The company also showed off a few sample shots claimed to have been taken using the CMF Phone 2 Pro which look pretty impressive. Whether the average user will be able to take equivalent shots with the actual device though, we’ll have to wait until the device actually launches locally.
