Zeekr Launches the 007 GT; Its Second Electrified Station Wagon

by Kris

Zeekr has recently launched its second electric station wagon, the 007 GT, in China with a starting price of CNY199,900 (~RM119,743). Built on the SEA-based PMA2+ modular architecture—the same platform used for the sedan variant—the 007 GT blends cutting-edge technology with stylish design.

The model stands out visually, starting with the 90-inch interactive LED panel at the front, known as the Zeekr Stargate. This unit can project images and text, creating a futuristic look. Positioned just below are the headlights, forming a continuous line of light. A LiDAR sensor on the roof, retractable door handles, roof racks, and a sporty roof spoiler are the features of the exterior design.

Inside, the 007 GT features an oval-shaped LCD driver’s display and a 15.4-inch infotainment screen. A notable addition is the 35.5-inch augmented reality head-up display, offering over 200 functions, supported by an AI-powered voice assistant.

Other highlights include a three-spoke D-shaped steering wheel, spacious cabin, speakers integrated into the headrests, and tablet anchorages on the rear seats. The panoramic sunroof, claimed to block 99.99% of UV rays, enhances the sense of openness. Customers can choose from four interior colour variations, while the front seats offer 14-way power adjustments, along with heating, cooling, and massage functions.

Under the floor, the entry-level Zeekr 007 GT is powered by a single synchronous permanent magnet electric motor mounted on the rear axle, delivering 310 kW (416 hp). The 4WD variant adds a 165 kW (221 hp) front motor, pushing the combined output to 475 kW (637 hp) and achieving a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 2.95 seconds.

Battery options include a 75kWh LFP pack developed with CATL and Zeekr, and a 100kWh ternary NMC pack. The range varies between 585km and 825 km under CLTC conditions. Thanks to its 800V high-voltage system, the 007 GT supports 5.5C fast charging—5.5 times the power relative to its battery capacity—and can even function as a charging station for other vehicles with up to 60kW capacity.

In China, the Zeekr 007 GT is available in four variants: RWD 75kWh, RWD 100kWh, 4WD 75kWh, and 4WD 100kWh. At present, there is no information regarding its potential launch in the Malaysian market although the car is already available in the Europe market.
