Possible Pokemon Leak Indicates Generation 10 Releasing In 2026

by Thora.Hansen

While leaks in the tech and gaming industry is not a novel idea, doing so for the Pokemon franchise seems especially risky. But that hasn’t stopped daredevils from trying. The most recent one claims that Generation 10 proper, succeeding Scarlet and Violet, will be releasing next year, with DLC following the year after.

This comes via @CentroLeaks on X which, according to Engadget, sourced the info from the hacker responsible for last year’s Teraleak. In a post, the account shared what looks like a timeline of upcoming games. This includes the aforementioned Generation 10 game and beyond. Said generation is claimed to be named Wind and Waves.

Some story bits for these games have also been uncovered, albeit via machine translation. Insider Gaming reports that these two games will feature either an old man or old woman, respectively, harnessing the power of, well, either wind or waves to guide humanity and Pokemon. The setting is even claimed to be Kuala Lumpur.

Alongside the Generation 10 DLC, the roadmap also points at 2027 getting another Pokemon Legends game set in Galar. Beyond that, a “multi-region remake” is in the works in 2028 or beyond. According to the latter report, this may even the the MMO that fans have been clamouring for all this time.

While it all sounds pretty exciting, these leaks are claimed to be based on data-mined info. At any rate, it’s best to take them with a pinch of salt.
