Razer has given two of its gaming mice the Faker Edition treatment previously. Now, its the turn of the Gigantus V2 mouse mat to complete the picture. Unlike the gaming mice though, this one is a limited edition, with the company saying only 2,000 are made. It’s also only available in one size, according to its US listing.
Said size is L, which isn’t quite capitalising on what makes the Razer Gigantus V2 unique. The series is known for its overgrown sizing, with the V2 going all the way up to 3XL. So the limited edition being locked to one size, and one that is not the mouse mat’s selling point, is a bit odd.
Beyond that, it’s the same old Razer Gigantus V2 that you’ve always known. If you don’t, it’s one of the brand’s line of soft mats, though with a textured micro-weave for both speed and control. Underneath is a rubber anti-slip base to ensure it doesn’t fly with your mouse while you give it the aggressive swipes.
As mentioned, only 2,000 of these are made, and they are not listed on the Razer Malaysia retail site. In the US, it costs US$49.99 (~RM211), but remember, it only comes in Large. For that money, you’re just slightly short of the price of the basic 3XL mat. Alternatively, you could getthe normal XXL mat with change to spare.
