2026 Zeekr 7X Facelift Unveiled In China

by Kris

The 2026 Zeekr 7X facelift was recently unveiled in China, shortly after spy images of the mid-size SUV surfaced on social media. The updated model introduces several significant enhancements in terms of performance, and is slated for launch on 28 October.

The facelifted Zeekr 7X features a reshaped lower bumper with air inlets, while at the rear, the licence plate has been repositioned higher. The taillights have also been redesigned to extend further into the tailgate.

However, the 7X’s iconic Stargate customisable light curtain and clamshell bonnet remain unchanged. The SUV also retains its signature fastback silhouette, roofline, and LiDAR module.

Inside, the cabin sees minimal changes, as it remains fitted with a 13.02-inch instrument display and a 15.05-inch infotainment system. According to the automaker, the rear offers 1,187 mm of legroom and 905 litres of boot space. Storage practicality has also been enhanced with 40 storage slots throughout the cabin.

Performance-wise, the most significant upgrade is the introduction of a new 900-volt architecture across all three variants. The RWD base and long-range versions now feature a single motor that produces 370 kW, allowing them to sprint from 0–100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and 5.1 seconds, respectively. The AWD variant, on the other hand, comes equipped with a dual-motor setup generating 585 kW, enabling an impressive century sprint time of just 2.98 seconds.

In terms of range, the base model continues to use a 75 kWh “Golden Brick” lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a CLTC-rated range of 620 km. The long-range variants step up to a 103 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack, extending the range to 802 km for the RWD and 715 km for the AWD model. Thanks to the 900-volt architecture, the SUV supports ultra-fast DC charging, allowing it to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 10 minutes.

On the safety front, all models now come standard with Geely’s G-Pilot H7 suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, powered by the latest Nvidia Drive Thor-U chips. The 7X is capable of door-to-door highly automated driving and remote parking assistance.

The original Zeekr 7X was introduced in Malaysia in August this year. Given the strong reception of the current model, the facelifted version is likely to make its way to the Malaysian market in the near future.
