Samsung Galaxy S26+ Renders Emerge Online

by Thora.Hansen

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series has gone through quite a few changes throughout its development, if the rumours prove to be accurate. The tech giant initially planned to replace the Galaxy S26+ with an Edge model, but has since decided against it. Now, we are getting a first look at the S26+, courtesy of leakster @OnLeaks and Android Headlines.

These leaks come in the form of CAD-based renders, one of which depicting the device in a familiar bright orange hue. However, the report mentions that the colours are not official, but rather “visual representations”. This means that the final colours likely won’t match what is shown here.

The renders indicate that the phone will largely resemble the current model. The images depict the device with a flat frame. Beyond that, the report notes that the device’s corners are slightly more rounded than the S26 Ultra. This isn’t exactly surprising, as the Ultra variant in the current generation is noticeably boxier than its siblings.

Of course, the most obvious distinction is the pill-shaped island that houses all three of the phone’s cameras. According to the leak, the cameras will also protrude on their own. There have been conflicting rumours on the sensors themselves, although they all suggest that upgrades will be minimal. Leakster Ice Universe claims that the phone will feature a smaller telephoto lens.

Additionally, it will allegedly sport a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED 2X display protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Internally, the chipset will either be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Samsung’s own Exynos 2600 depending on region.

Furthermore, the S26+ is expected to pack a 4,900mAh battery, just like its predecessor. Aside from that, the battery could support 25W wireless charging. Finally, the phone might come with magnets for proper Qi2 support.

As usual, though, these are merely leaks at this point. Samsung has yet to officially reveal anything regarding the Galaxy S26 lineup, so take this information with a grain of salt.
