Shortly after releasing the MegaPad Pro, Tecno announced three new additions to its AIoT lineup. Among these are the Watch 3 Active, the True 1 Air, and the Buds 4 Air. While some of the products have been available in select markets for some time now, they are only just making their debut in Malaysia.
Watch 3 Active
Starting with the Watch 3 Active, the smartwatch is designed for everyday use and active lifestyles. According to Tecno, the wearable features a premium high-density metal case with ultra-hard glass for improved durability. However, the brand doesn’t get into the specifics of these materials. Beyond that, the watch weighs 59.2g and comes with a large 2.02-inch HD LCD display for easy viewing.
Much like any other fitness tracker, the device is equipped with health monitoring features. Among the metrics measured by the watch are heart rate and blood oxygen. In addition to this, the wearable comes with more than 100 exercise modes. Furthermore, custom workout tracking and fitness data monitoring are on board to help wearers improve their performance.
As for battery life, Tecno claims the 350mAh cell will net up to 12 days of typical usage. In standby mode, the wearable can last a maximum of 40 days. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.3. Rounding things off is an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
True 1 Air
According to Tecno, the True 1 Air is designed for a variety of purposes, including gaming and listening to music. The wireless earbuds come with 42dB hybrid ANC, promising an immersive listening experience regardless of the environment. For clear calls, the buds feature a triple-mic system and environmental noise cancellation (ENC).
Other than that, the audio accessory offers up to nine hours of playback on a single charge. With the charging case, listening time gets stretched to a maximum of 50 hours. Speaking of the case, it features a compact design with a sliding cover for easy one-handed operation. Other features include Bluetooth 5.4 support and an IPX5 water resistance rating.
Buds 4 Air
Finally, the Buds 4 Air is meant for everyday listening, with touch controls for intuitive operation. In addition to this, the wireless earbuds feature AI-driven ENC, ensuring clarity during calls. In terms of battery life, the buds offer up to 5.6 hours of playback on a single charge, or 22 hours with the charging case. Beyond that, the device supports Bluetooth 5.4 and gets an IPX4 rating for water resistance. That said, the buds are also claimed to be sweat-resistant.
Pricing and availability
All of the listed products are available through the brand’s online stores, including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Starting with the cheapest of the bunch, the Buds 4 Air gets an RM89 price tag and comes in Black, White, and Midnight Blue. Meanwhile, the True 1 Air retails for RM179, with Creamy White and Elegant Black colour options. Last but not least, the Watch 3 Active is available in Silver and Black and will set you back RM299.
