Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Main Camera Could Use 200MP Sensor

by Thora.Hansen

Among the rumours that have been reported about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7, one suggests that its main camera could include a 200MP shooter. Specifically, it is expected to be the same as the one used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra

A notable upgrade from the Fold6’s 50 MP shooter, the upcoming Samsung device will allegedly also share the same camera sensors as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which launched in Korea and China last year. Additionally, the report also claims that the under-display camera embedded below the folding screen will be revamped as well.

Beyond that, the phone will reportedly retain the same 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto, and 10MP selfie camera as its predecessor. Additionally, the device’s software is also expected to receive an enhancement to ensure it is on par with its shooters.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to launch sometime in July, along with the Galaxy Z Flip7. Another device is also reportedly going to be released in the same series, possibly a tri-fold phone to go up against its Chinese rival, Huawei, and its own Mate XT.
