Nubia Redmagic 10 Air To Launch On 16 April In China

by Kris

Nubia currently has two phones in its Redmagic 10 series: the Redmagic 10 Pro, and the Redmagic 10 Pro Plus. Through an announcement on Weibo, the brand has now revealed a new model as part of its lineup, the Red\agic 10 Air.

The upcoming Redmagic 10 Air was teased in a picture posted on Weibo, displaying a phone with metal frames, and three circular modules at its rear panel. Additionally, the cooling fan duct might be absent on this phone as it cannot be seen from its side, while the game space slider seems to have been replaced with a circular button.

According to its post, the brand will be launching the device on 16 April, at 3:00pm in China. Nubia’s CEO, Ni Fei, stated in a reply to the post that the Redmagic 10 Air is “geared towards a younger audience” and is “slim yet powerful”. The phone is also said to be the “lightest and thinnest full-screen flagship in Redmagic history”.

While the specs of the Redmagic 10 Air were not revealed by the company, there are rumours that the phone will come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and sport a 6.8-inch, 1116p BOE true fullscreen display. It might also pack a 6,000 mAh battery with up to 80W charging, and have a 16MP under-display camera, with two 50MP shooters at its back. However, as this information did not come from Nubia directly, it should be taken with some salt.
