HONOR just recently launched its X60 GT model in China. While its design was revealed by the brand prior to the official release, we now get a complete look at its specs and features, including its chipset and the large battery it houses.
Starting off with its chip, the HONOR X60 GT comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, similar to last year’s X50 Pro model. The phone also packs a large 6,300mAh battery, with an 80W charging capacity. According to the brand, it has a charging separation technology which allows for simultaneous gaming and charging without overheating (as per machine translations of HONOR’s website).

Moving on, the X60 GT has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, and is equipped with an ‘HONOR Oasis Eye Protection’. The brand claims that it has a touch sampling rate of 2,700Hz. Additionally, it is 7.7mm thin, and has an IP65 rating.
Camera-wise, the HONOR X60 GT has 50MP Sony rear camera with support for OIS, and a 2MP depth sensor that supports autofocus. The rear cameras are capable of up to 4K video recording. Its selfie shooter is a 16MP camera with f/2.45 aperture. The phone comes with MagicOS 9.0 which allows several AI features such as photo editing and image expansion.

The X60 GT comes in three colours – blue, black, and white. For memory and storage configurations, it comes in either 12GB RAM with 256BG or 512GB of storage, or 16GB with 512GB. It is currently being sold in China at a starting price of RMB1,799 (~RM1,084). As of now, HONOR has not revealed if the phone will see a release outside of its home market.
