GWM Malaysia Begins Taking Bookings For Facelifted Ora Good Cat

by Kris

GWM has announced that it is now accepting bookings for the facelifted Ora Good Cat. The announcement was made via the company’s social media platforms, and it appears that both variants — the 400 Pro and 500 Ultra — are receiving updates.

Recently, the EV hatchback was refreshed in China, and taking that as a reference, we can expect the Malaysian model to feature redesigned front headlights and a revised front bumper. The previous chrome accents have been removed, replaced with slimmer corner air inlets and a more prominent main intake, giving the car a cleaner and sportier appearance.

Inside, the facelifted Ora Good Cat is expected to feature a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster alongside a larger 14.6-inch infotainment display. The latter runs on Coffee OS 3 software and supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin also gains upgraded leather seats with heating and ventilation functions, enhancing comfort for both driver and passengers.

In terms of performance, the facelifted model is expected to adopt the front motor from the GT variant, producing 126 kW of power and 220 Nm of torque. This setup is paired with a 57.7kWh LFP battery pack that delivers a CLTC-rated range of approximately 430 km.

Speaking of the GT variant, Paultan.org reported that the facelifted Ora Good Cat might also include this sportier version that was showcased during the Merdeka Parade. It features the same motor and battery pack as the standard variant with an NEDC range of 460km.

According to GWM’s announcement, pricing the facelifted Ora Good Cat is estimated to retail at RM115,000 for the 400 Pro and RM125,000 for the 500 Ultra. Full specifications of each variant are expected to be revealed in due time.
