
AEON Bank has upgraded a feature of its mobile app, giving it a more chatbot-like interface. This upgrade is given to the feature known as Neko Sensei, and as you’d expect, it’s AI-powered, you can make use of it at any time you like, with them being available 24/7.
Amanz reports that the new chat-like interface lets you ask various questions involving your spending via AEON Bank, as well as finances in general. This includes things like spending analysis, smart budgeting, and more. Upon launching it from the app, you get a few suggestions as to what you can ask the chatbot. The report notes that the same page also displays a summary of your account for an unspecified period of time.

On one hand, the report notes that you can choose to communicate with it in both English or Bahasa Malaysia, and it understands both well enough. Regardless of which language you choose when you talk to Neko Sensei though, it will choose to answer in English. The report also mentions that some data is still not integrated. One example included in the report is a summary of expenses with tax exemptions.
That being said, more data may be integrated into the feature in the future, as more updates roll by. For AEON Bank users, you can check if there’s an available update for the app. And if there is, you’ll be able to try it out for yourself. If not, then it may be one of those gradual rollouts, and you’ll simply have to wait to get access.
