Huawei FreeArc, Band 10 Hit The Shelves Starting From RM199

During today’s product launch, Huawei introduced a new pair of earbuds called the FreeArc along with an update to its smartband with the Band 10. The former is a pair of over-ear buds with hooks as well as an open-ear design, similar to what we have seen in recent months from other brands.

The FreeArc uses the C-bridge technology that it used in the FreeClip, where the battery is placed separately in the back while the 17x12mm audio driver sits near the ear. With its open-ear design, it obviously does not have active noise cancellation, but the company does claim that it has a sound-leak-proof design as well as voice noise cancellation during calls.

For the battery life, it claims to provide a total battery life of 28 hours with the charging case, with a 10-minute charge delivering three hours of usage. The FreeArc also boasts an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance and a custom antenna layout for a more stable connection.

Then there is the Band 10, which gets a 1.47-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a new the Heart Rate Variability feature alongside a nine-axis sensor for better workout accuracy. Aside from some AI-based fitness software features, it also gets a water resistance of up to 50 metres and eight days of battery life.

The Huawei FreeArc gets a retail price of RM599 while the Band 10 is available for RM199. Both devices can be pre-ordered from now until 24 March 2025 through the brand’s Shopee and Lazada stores.
