Casio has introduced the G-Shock x Barbie collaboration model, which will be available in Malaysia soon. Also known by its model name GMA-S110BE, the watch is based on the GMA-S110 model, featuring a layered, dimensional design with a monochromatic pink colour scheme that’s inspired by the famous doll brand.
Subtle variations in tone are present across its components, with the Barbie logo appearing on the band loop and at the 3 o’clock position. A heart-motif indicator is also placed on the inset dial at 9 o’clock, reinforcing the theme.
Additional design elements include the Barbie silhouette engraved on both the band and case back. The watch is packaged in a box inspired by Barbie doll packaging and is intended to, as Casio puts it, replicate the excitement of unboxing a Barbie doll.
The GMA-S110BE offers 200-meter water resistance and an approximate battery life of two years using a CR1220 battery. It also includes an LED light with an auto light switch and selectable illumination durations of 1.5 or 3 seconds. Other standard features include a daily alarm, stopwatch, automatic calendar, date display, and day indicator.
The new G-Shock Barbie collaboration model will be available in Malaysia from 10 March 2025 at RM795 through the official Casio Malaysia website. On a somewhat related note, HMD also introduced a Barbie-themed flip phone last year, offering another matching accessory for fans of the world-famous doll.
