HONOR has previously shared that it will be announcing a pretty wide range of products today, on 10 April. As promised, the company has launched a laptop and two tablets earlier today, which are the refreshed MagicBook X14, Pad X9a and Pad V9 respectively. The company also had a smartwatch and a pair of wireless earphones as part of the launch today, but we’ll talk about those in a separate article.
Starting with the laptop, the HONOR MagicBook X14 comes in a 1-inch form factor, with a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution with a 16:10 resolution, and a 60Hz refresh rate. Processor choices range from an Intel Core i5-12450H to either a Core i3-1315U or Core i5-13420H. Memory capacity comes in either 8GB or 16GB LPDDR4x, while storage is limited to a single 512GB SSD option.
It is powered by a 42Wh battery, though it does support 65W charging. For ports, the HONOR MagicBook X14 has a USB-C pport, a USB-A 3.2 Gen2, a USB-A 3.2 Gen1, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It has an asking price of RM2,499
Moving on to the HONOR Pad X9a, this has previously been revealed to be running a 11.5-inch 2.5K 120Hz display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset, 8GB of memory. During the launch, the company also says that it has a quad-speaker system for a stereo speaker setup when consuming content. Letting you do that is a 8,300 mAh battery and 35W charging.
Other items in the spec sheet include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1 support, an 8MP main camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter, and MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 on the software side of things. Previously, it was revealed to only available in its WiFi version, with 128GB of storage, but today, the company announced an LTE model with 256GB of storage. These are priced at RM999 and RM1,299 respectively, though at the time of writing, the latter has yet to be listed on the brand’s official site.
Then there’s the HONOR Pad V9, which has a similar 11.5-inch form factor, but with a 2,800 x 1,840 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Elite chipset, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. Powering it is a 10,100 mAh battery, but its charging rate was not shared. It runs the same software as the Pad X9a, and has a 13MP main camera at the back. This will set you back RM1,999.
