by Thora.Hansen

HONOR is set to launch its GT Pro on 24 April in China, at 2:30 pm local time. It’s clearly a busy time for the company, as it just released its X60 GT, and the Power phone. Through a series of posts on Weibo, the brand has revealed the specs of the upcoming GT Pro.

As per HONOR via Weibo, the GT Pro will come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and the brand’s C1 Plus RF enhancement chip. It will also pack a 7,200mAh battery, which the brand claims will allow for more than 10 hours of gaming.

Additionally, HONOR states that the GT Pro will have a glass screen which will apparently be “ten times more resistant to drops and falls”, according to a machine translation of its post. It will have a 144Hz refresh rate, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint, and have an IP68 and IP69 rating. It will also house a 50MP camera that is referred to as an “AI Eagle Eye” camera. The brand has also stated that the device will be offered in three colours: white, black, and gold.

The remaining reported specs have been leaked by known tipster, Digital Chat Station. They claim that the HONOR GT Pro will make use of 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, and support 90W charging, as per machine translations of their post.
