Amazfit previously announced its new Cheetah 2 Pro smartwatch for the international market. At the time, the brand did not provide local pricing and availability details of its new wearable. That has since changed, with the Cheetah 2 Pro now not only having a local price tag, but also a launch date.
In case you missed it, the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro has a 1.32-inch 466 x 466 AMOLED screen, which is notably a tad smaller than that of its predecessor. It makes for it instead by having a layer of sapphire glass on top, and by being much brighter, peaking at 3,000 nits.

The case of the case though is what the company claims to be grade 5 titanium, with the four buttons topped with aluminium alloys. These are packed tightly enough together to give the smartwatch a 5 ATM water resistance rating, letting it be compatible with tracking swimming-related workouts. It also has a microphone and a speaker despite this, plus a dual-mode flashlight.
Powering the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is a 540 mAh battery that allows it to stay on for 20 days. As you’d imagine, this goes down further to eight days if you have its always-on display toggled on. With its GPS mode engaged, this gets cut down to what is still a very commendable time of 31 hours.

As a fitness tracker should, the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro features over 170 sports modes, plus the more passive health metrics monitoring such as heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and stress levels. These details can then be processed by the Zepp app’s Zepp Coach, as well as paired with third-party apps like Strava, for the more social or competitive-minded. It also supports Bluetooth peripherals like action cameras and other heart rate monitors.
Amazfit says that the Cheetah 2 Pro is now available for pre-order, lasting until its official launch on 14 May. It comes with a price tag of RM2,099, and if you get it during this pre-order window, you’ll also get an Amazfit T-shirt and a hair dryer, while stocks last. Beyond that, you can buy the Cheetah 2 Pro via the brand’s own official online store, as well as e-commerce platforms Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop. That being said, it’s worth noting that prices on those platforms vary wildly compared to the brand’s own store.
