Xiaomi today also introduced the new Xiaomi Pad 7 Series smart tablets, comprising a Pro and a base model. These are designed to enhance productivity and entertainment with AI-powered features, high-resolution displays, and powerful performance.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 Series features an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, adaptive HDR, and TÜV Rheinland certifications for reduced eye strain. The display supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a pixel density of 345 ppi, and 68 billion colour output. Both tablets are lightweight at 500g and measure just 6.18mm in thickness. Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos are also included as part of their setup.
Powered by Xiaomi HyperOS 2, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Series incorporates HyperAI suite of AI-driven productivity tools. These include AI Writing and AI Speech Recognition assist with text composition and voice-to-text functions, while AI Art with Mi Canvas supports digital creativity. Additionally, AI Calculator provides advanced problem-solving capabilities.
The onboard Xiaomi HyperConnect allows for seamless cross-device integration, with NFC Sharing enabling instant file transfers. The Home screen+ 2.0 feature allows access to smartphone apps directly from the tablet, while combined camera functionality enables users to activate cameras on both their smartphone and tablet simultaneously. Workstation mode transforms the tablet into a desktop-like interface with floating windows and adjustable app sizes, catering to multitasking professionals.
The high-end Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro model is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, along with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It also features an aluminum unibody design, a large 8,850mAh battery with 67W HyperCharge, Wi-Fi 7 support, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Its imaging system consists of a 50MP primary camera on its back, and a 32MP snapper in front.
On the other hand, the vanilla Xiaomi Pad 7 has a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, which is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Other notable features include Wi-Fi 6E support and the same 8,850mAh battery capacity as the Pro, but with 45W fast charging instead. On its back is a 13MP camera, while in front is an 8MP camera for video calls and selfies.
Both models are compatible with a range of accessories, including the Xiaomi Pad 7 / 7 Pro Focus Keyboard, the Xiaomi Focus Pen, and a compatible protective cover. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Series is available in Blue, Gray, and Green colour variants.
The new Xiaomi Pad 7 Series is now available for purchase at all Xiaomi stores across Malaysia and online on mi.com, and Xiaomi official stores on Shopee and Lazada. The Pro model is priced at RM2,499 for the 8GB + 256GB trim (online only) and RM2,699 for the 12GB + 512GB, whereas the vanilla variant is priced at RM1,299 for 8GB + 128GB (online only) and RM1,599 for 8GB + 256GB.
Customers who purchase the online-exclusive configurations of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro and Pad 7 are entitled to a rebate of RM100 each, while the standard versions include the Focus Keyboard and Focus Pen accessories at no additional cost. These offers are available only while stocks last.
