Apple is expected to unveil its iPhone 17 series during a launch event in September this year. As usual, Rumours and supposed leaks regarding the phone series have been floating around, with yet another one now out.
Known tipster Digital Chat Station reported via Weibo that the iPhone 17 Air is set to feature a horizontal camera bar, and even attached a picture that shows the backs of four dummy phones. On what is assumed the 17 Air variant is a horizontal setup with a singular camera lens.

This backs up a claim made by a separate leakster, Sonny Dickinson, who posted a picture on X of a phone case with a horizontal camera cut-out at the top. In his caption, he states that the picture was a first look at the upcoming iPhone 17 Air case, and then goes on to compare its camera set-up to the Google Pixel.
If these are indeed real, the 17 Air would be the first iPhone to feature a different camera layout. This would also definitely make it one of Apple’s most unique phones, which adds on to an earlier rumour of it being the fruit company’s thinnest smartphone. Additionally, Digital Chat Station also claims that the entire 17 series will support MagSafe.

As Apple hasn’t officially confirmed this, it is best to take them with a pinch of salt.Â
